Stanley Young America
The story of Stanley’s Young America line actually began in 1924 when young Thomas B. Stanley opened the doors of the Stanley Furniture Company. Since that day, Stanley Furniture has become a name known world-wide as a top-notch manufacturer of high-quality and durable furniture. The Young America line of Stanley Furniture is aimed to make the transition from infant to teen easier by providing beautifully hand-crafted furniture that will grow with your child.
Stanley uses many popular hardwoods and softwoods in the construction of the Young America pieces—the most common are cherry, oak, ash, birch, beech, maple, poplar, and pine. Veneers used in the construction of these pieces also add to the warmth and strength of individual components.
The people at Stanley Young America furniture consider the safety of your child to be of the upmost importance. They have made a pledge to ensure that the furniture you purchase is not only functional and stylish, but also free from dangerous finishes and features. On each product you purchase from Young America you will find the following certification seals: The Juvenile Manufacturers Association Inc. (JPMA), The US Consumer Product Safety Commission, and The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
