DELIVERY

How quickly can I take delivery of my furniture selections?

Delivery usually takes from six to eight weeks. Although we make every effort to have your furniture within that timeframe, Lauter's Furniture cannot be responsible for manufacturer production delays.

How will my furniture ship?

Lauter's employs our own delivery personnel and uses our own delivery equipment.  We do not sub out delivery.

What is White Glove Delivery?

White glove delivery means that Lauter's personnel will place the furniture where you wish, perform all of the necessary set-up and assembly, and then polish and clean all furniture before leaving.

What if My Shipment Arrives Damaged?

If a piece of purchased furniture arrives damaged, Lauter's will handle the problem in one of two ways:

  1. Furniture that has minor damage will be serviced by specially-trained techs.
  2. Furniture that has significant damage will be replaced.

With the rising cost of diesel fuel, and because of our commitment to bringing you the best prices available, Lauter's makes sure that all orders are complete before delivery to your home.

Will I be contacted regarding my delivery?

Once your new furniture arrives at our store, Lauter's will inspect each piece and then contact you with delivery information.

Will my furniture need assembly?

A majority of assembly work is completed in our shop prior to delivery to your home. When there are exceptions to this policy, you can be assured that all assembly work will be done before the delivery personnel leave your home.

CREDIT/PAYMENTS

When does my credit card get charged?

Lauter's Furniture requires a minimum of 10% down in order to begin the sales process. Any remaining balances are due only after your furniture has been delivered to your home and you have been able to inspect it.

Lauter's offers free shipping and delivery on all new furniture orders.

Yes, Lauter's does accept personal checks.

As stated above, you may pay by cash or personal check. Lauter's also accepts major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We do not accept American Express at this time.

Lauter's Furniture does offer a one-year warranty against any manufacturer defects.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

You may cancel an order if your new furniture has not yet shipped from the manufacturer.

Please keep in mind that upholstered items are made to order, and so may not be returned for any reason once production of the piece has started.

Lauter's Furniture does not accept returned furniture. Please choose carefully before ordering.
